Thread: 720p question

  1. Default 720p question

I have a 720p video camera. Do I need a BD burner to get the 720p quality, or will I get it with my DVD burner on a standard 4.7 gb disc??

You need BD for HD, DVD is only SD OR you can output to Flash

Having said that some BluRay players will see DVD as HD if recoded in the format, but the recording time is considerably less.

I guess its common sense, but I just wanted to make sure. So basically, I get 480p output via a DVD burner with a 720p source?

Wouldn't that be 480i or 560 for PAL?
