Thread: G.726 audio file

  1. Default G.726 audio file

    Hi,

Does anyone know how do we play and create G.726 file?

I know Vegas can't read the file. I've installed the G.726 codec, and you can actually see it under the render options for WAV, but there is no attributes. And after rendering, it's not a G.726 file.

I do have an MPEG-4 video with G.726 audio, and when I bring it into Vegas, there is no problem. Meaning, if there is a video with it..it is fine but if it is just the audio G.726 file, it won't work.

How do I create a playable G.726 audio file? With and without video

Tried to do some research but nothing helps. Hope someone can enlighten me...
