Thread: Can anyone tell me how to do some of these effects?

    Default Can anyone tell me how to do some of these effects?

    I know they're prob really basic lol

    the effect at 0.39 where the outline is exploding?
    at 0.58 with the three diff clips.. PLEASElol
    at 1.04 with the circles holding pictures
    at 1.11 with the clip pasted on top

    I have sony vegas 9!
    Please help me,

    the three different clips is using cookie cutter..all you have to do for that is make say 3 video tracks and have 3 different videosin the same time line and then using the cookie cutter feature etc etc.

    the clip pasted on top is masking i do believe.

    duplicate your video track
    reduce the opacity (compositing level) of the higher one
    Use pand and crop and keyframes to zoom in on the higher track.

    A number of ways. As Dusty says for one.
    I'd do it with Masks in Pan & Crop, feathering the centre clip which I'd put on the top track.

    Cookie cutter is definitely the way to go.

    More tricky. I'd probably investigate using the threshold FX.
