    Default Problem with codecs

    Hi

I have a video file captured from a security camera but we are unable to play it. Inside the GSpot software the codec is Xvid 1.1.0 beta but even with the latest Xvid codec I cannot play the video. The link of the video is posted below.

Check to see if you have the G264 codec as part of your Xvid 1.10 beta. Gspot reports this as the needed codec.

I don't have this codec so all I get is a black screen as it plays with no sound. I've tried different players, and editing software neither will play it.

    Sorry I can't help anymore.
