    Default effects and studio 9

    Hi peoples
I am new at this digital editing thing , we all got to start somewhere I suppose. I been mucking around with some effects in studio 9, I know that you should use very few effects, but I recorded my mate singing and playing his guitar in his studio, the problem I got is that I seem to lose sync between the video and audio when I use effects. I know the best way is to record the sound track separate from the video, but that is a lot of hassle for someone who only just started with video editing with digital.
Is there an easy way to stop this happening,
    thanks

    Default delete the sound

delete the sound track in the timeline when u render effect into the video. After that put back your source video file on the timeline, this time u only use the sound. Hope this will work
