Default Rendering quality using Pinnacle Studio v.12

Hi. I have Pinnacle Studio v.12 and when I render a video that lasts around anything over 60mins the quality % drops and it will often stick when being played back on the DVD player as a result. Apart from obviously making shorter films is there anything else I can do to improve the quality of the DVD after rendering so it doesn't stick on playback ?? Any help or suggestions very much appreciated. Thanks.

You could try rendering with MPEG4 it is usually a better compresion without loosing quallity.
