Thread: Encore 2.0 - Building DVD Image take a long time?

  1. Default Encore 2.0 - Building DVD Image take a long time?

Hi guys, well I currently have my Encore DVD 2.0 building a DVD image and it has been Importing the DVD Menu Video File for over a hour now. Is this normal, does it usually take this long to build the final dvd.

It just seems to crash on the Importing the video that is used for the menu, as it Transcodes it (takes about a minute) and then just says Importing (been saying it for over a hour).

It's taken me 3 hours before in Encore 4.0 but I'm afraid there's nothing you can do but wait.

But if you're like me, you check the dvd through later to find a mistake, it will transcode a lot faster because the menus are already built.

Go of and have a cuppa and come back in 5 hours.

If it still doesn't work post back.

Good luck and i hope you don't use exquisite formats such a divx
