Default Mac .MTS file transfer nightmare

    I have a Panasonic HD camcorder that's giving me 1920 x 1080 .MTS files.

I am on G5 Mac Power PC.

I am trying to convert these files to Quicktime via either iSkysoft Video Convertor or Aimersoft Total Media Convertor.

If I load a 30mb .MTS file, it only shows up as 10mb.

There doesn't seem to be an 1920 x 1080 setting in either of these programs.

Any tips please? Many thanks, Kim

I don't know either of these programmes personally but... There should be a 1440 x 1080 setting which is sometimes called HDV. Some programs will only work with HDV and not the full 1920 x 1080.
