Smile What to use for background?

    Hi

I am new to this forum, and I am planning on filming some reviews for the products on my website. I am just wondering what I could use for the background so that I can take out the background when it comes to editing the video. What is best to use and where would I buy it from?

    Thanks in advance,
    Kerri

If I understand what you mean, you will need to shoot against a green screen. You can use any colour so long as it doesn't clash with the item you are filming. eg blue jacket on a blue background. You can use a sheet, coloured board or paper anything that will give you a solid block of colour. (not black or white)

Tips: Don't stand to close to the background so you don't have a shadow, this will make it harder when it comes to editing. Make sure the background is well lit so there is even colour throughout the background.
Search for green screen on youtube for instructional videos.

    Good luck.

Blue screen or green screen depending on what your foreground colours are. The talent also needs to be lit aswell as the background.
