    Default Raw ufo footage

While attending The royal Melbourne Show, I inadvertently captured a super fast UFO, and if it were not for me watching the video being rendered, I would not have been the wiser of me capturing it, anyway here's a quick n dirty video I put together on it..

But first let me apologise for it being so rough, as it totally blew me away and even now I am still somewhat in disbelief..

    Enjoy!

Just keep in mind its speed and the lack of any acoustics from it..

    Cheers,

    Pete..

    How's the weather been..?

I love the Melbourne show I used to work there years back helping out with the fireworks, very different to the old Sydney Show.

OK, I see clearly what your up to on this video, believe me I now how to set up viral videos on the tube, in this open forum I will not disclose all I know but I will say a few things.

First, this video is way too long, it has to be 90 seconds in duration, youtube will sink anything on this subject over say 120 seconds.

    Second, youtube hates reading lessons.

Third, the bulk of the viral audience is derived from the US, I have found that Americans love anything American, Australian stuff is well very alien indeed.

Forth, set up your tags in the video better, remove any reference to Oz.

If you would like more precise info on how to pull off a viral video you will have to contact me via my tube page, as I see your not a partner the really cool thing partners can do is set up a custom thumb to a video, so let's say on your video you could have the classic red ring around the UFO, doing this alone will basically haul in the views.

I believe a well set up thumb can account for 80% of the views.

Just a personal note here, I believe being a little different is also important, the really good viral videos have a little story attached (without a reading lesson), and haul the viewer in.

Take it or leave it, I have sad way too much in this open forum as it is.
I know nothing about youtube, even less about video

I just had a look at your other videos on your tube channel..

Get rid of the multiple uploads of the same footage, that's epic fail if your trying to pull off viral stuff, and drop the Australian themed stuff, you will not find the general audience you require.

If your trying to build a channel, first get some good normal content up first, grab at least 1000 subscribers (this can take a very long time) then do your viral attempts, you need the network to send the viral's out.

Viral videos do not generate subscribers, only views, I see you still have 0 subs..!

Youtube is 90% understanding networks 10% video.

    Free advice, do you believe..!

Congratulations! you're my first sceptic for my second UFO video Rollingstock, and as such are the first to receive egg on your good self, sorry but all my videos are 100% genuine.. unfortunately for me, only those who have personally observed and captured much the same will be smiling right now,..

YES - I am a UFO Buff, and I have been since my first personal observation without a camera at hand..

First let me say I am not interested in having the video go viral, although it does have the advantage of getting the raw clip in to the hands of many more sceptics and critics who are experts in eking out the many fakes out there, Thanks for your advice anyway..

Now - If any one wants a copy of the Raw video to scrutinise and or attempt to debunk it, then by all means, all they need do is ask, and I will email a raw as it came from my camcorder copy to them, I need as many sceptics and real experts to get a real good look at it..

Having said all that, I curse all sceptics - To one day find themselves in my shoes, and then receive other sceptics, with their inferences to it - being a fake..

    Until then 2~Duh~Loo!

    Hey there Rollingstock,
I just checked out your You-tube,

And it suggests to me you may know a thing or two about Special FX,
So I am wondering if you or any one you know, is able to scrutinise my Raw videos proving them to be the real deal?

As I want every body to know how genuine my clips are..

Oh, and I am sorry if I semed a little harsh in my previous post to you, its just that I know my videos are genuine and you took me aback, but I guess scepticism as such is to be expected if the video was not personally recorded...

    Cheers,

    Hi Laid back

Very interesting. It certainly looks convincing.

As for Rollingstock, what the hell is he on about. Didn't you just ask people to have a look at you footage?

Didn't think you asked for a lecture on Youtube protocol.

    Hi Cojaco,

To be honest, if it had zipped over at the same speed or perhaps a little faster than a jet, I would have just dismissed it as a jet, My next guess would be the Space Shuttle gliding in for a landing, but its incredible speed, location and proximity to the ground for touch down just doesn't fit, for where this video was taken..

Yeah, but his skepticism I guess should have been expected..

Going by his You-Tube website, I suspect he is an FX Fan and or even an FX Specialist, to which - He may have a good contact that is able to verify what I captured is the real deal..

BTW does any one know how one can calculate the speed of a moving objects in a video or film? as I am Interested, nay desperate - to find out it speed..

Conversing locally most suggest it may be around close to half the speed of light, while I tend to reason around a third of the speed of light, but mind you I am no expert, and that's only a guess, all I know its freak~n fast!..

    Cheers,

Interesting capture, but as said earlier way too long to keep a general audience hooked.
