so now after i've read so many threads on here about the "rendering" process in sony vegas, i still don't know which file type i should use...

i used to do all my movies in Corel Video Studio 12
3-4 minutes films, were "rendered" in 10-15 minutes, which i considered myself as pretty fast.
those movies has a filesize of 300-500 megabytes...

now after i've tried to render in different file formats on sony vegas...
i tried to render a 20 seconds !!! film scene, and it always took me 20-30 minutes for 20 seconds!

could anyone tell me, if there is any preset which needs the shortest time to render a movie, without turning down the picture quality...

Frank Desiront on Vimeo

all those films were rendered in less than 15 minutes...
is that impossible with sony vegas?

ok i might not have the newest computer (3.2 ghz processor, 1 giga ram)
but which can corel render the movies so FAST, and sony vegas can't?

thanks for helping
i'v already tried mpg, avi, sony, m2t, mp4....
the shortest rendering time was 25 minutes for a 20 sec. scene!

grr
