Default Sony Vegas Problem - Import files

    Hey guys,

So I've got the following problem:

When I add my camera to my computer it doesn't pop up. but when I go to File>Capture Video in Sony Vegas, I can see it and capture it in different tapes.

Anyway, when I look at it the size is different and there are lines in it when it moves. Like this:

    Thanks!

    So what is your question?

1] Your pc not seeing your camera?

2] Your footage of a difffernet size?

    OR

3] The "lines" you are seeing?

If it is either of the last two "questions/options" I have posited, then my betting is you haven't setup your Project to match your Media you have captured.

And how do you match your project with your media?

File | Project Properties | . and click on the "Folder Icon" and navigate to at least ONE of the video media files you are using and OPEN and click on APPLY.

    Done.

Quite correct, neither do I! - My Bad, apologies. I should have written:

    File | Properties . . .

But maybe you figured this out now?

You can use VirtualDub but you are asking about an interlace issue:

"Anyway, when I look at it the size is different and there are lines in it when it moves."

    Interesting . . . .
