Default How split avi without inflating size

    Hi, all
I'm in need to split 700M avi into 3 parts and that task starts killing me.
    1. used VirtualDub, no sound, can't FF file.
    2. used Corel VideoStudio, third of 700M file became 5G!!!!!
    3. same result with avseditor, file got inflated.

Please anybody can't help me to choose good soft for this task ?
Also is it possible to replace audio track on avi ?

Anybody can recommend any single good soft pack that can do this all in one.

    Thanks to all again.

There are aproximately 800 different video file types that use the avi extension.
Those programs can easily do what you want but most likely you are instructing them to output to a different type of avi without knowing it.
The result being that they are inflating the files.
Make sure your project setting match the file type exactly.
