    Hi!,

    (Sorry for my english)
    I have a DV Camera (JVC DVP7), and I want to buy de best hard + soft for edition (no matter platform).

    Im waiting for your expert advice.

    How much do you want to spend? Windows PC or Mac?

    About 1.000 - 1.500

    I think mac is a best solution for me, this platform has a good performance??. In this case, imac is enough? or I have to buy the mac pro?

    Sorry I'm a Windows PC user but if you only wish to capture and edit SD video from a mini dv camcorder I'm sure a reasonably spec Mac with 2GB RAM and an Intel Core 2 processor running at 1.8Ghz to 2Ghz would do fine. Just make sure it has a Firewire socket on it so you can connect the camcorder to it.
