Check the mounting thread on the lens to that on the camera. You can fit any wide angle lens with the appropriate thread.

All i know is that its a 37mm, which means that all the WA lenses on ebay should fit on to it,
However, all the hoods on ebay, will then not be able to fit on the WA lens ... :(

It's unlikely that you will spend much time with the wide angle lens. It's a nice shot to have in your arsenal, but it's not to be overused. Why do you want a hood for the lens?

well it sounds stupid, but i really just want it to make the camera look good, im buying a 450GBP cam (used) HDR HC1, and ill be charging the client the amount i got the cam for, i dont want them to think, ' hes reording my evet with a crappy cam, i could have picked up for 200' ... so i want to kit it out with a hood, and a shotgun mic, ive seen a nice Rode oe for 70GBP.

I mainly want the wide angle lens for the initial shots, like for the buildings and grounds of the wedding for example. then ill switch back to the stadard for indoors.

If you're successful in your target market, most of you're business will be referals. The size of your camera won't matter. It's what you do with it that counts. Deliver a professional product that meets your client's expectations and you're guaranteed to get a referal.
