    Default Join clips

    Well I've been trying this for ages and it never seems to work in Windows Movie Maker so I tried Media Join but no program I use joins my movie clips together. Is there security issues i need to change or can sombody recomend a simple program that will actuly work? thanks

    We need to know a bit more about the files you are trying to join. Essentially this can be done in any Non Linear Editing package providing you have the relevant codecs installed on your PC. Please note that when we refer to "join" in video editing, it actually involves encoding both files into one.

    What is the origin of your files and what codec has been used to compress?

    Hi,

    Well they are only MPEG and AVI files and I guesse they have been compressed with XVID. Does that sound right?

    Could you tell me more about these relevant codecs?
