Thread: Load Static in Audio Vegas 9.0

Default Loud Static in Audio Vegas 9.0

    Hey guys.
Ok so here's my problem and I hope you guys can help.
I'm using Vegas 9.0 Pro and my friend is using Vegas 9.0 Platinum which produces .vf files while the normal 9.0 produces .veg files.
Well he gave me his video project (.vf) and i opened it in my vegas ( I do have EVERYTHING he has like the videos and the audio I have all the media) but when I play it out on mine Some of the clips(mostly all) have a loud static in the audio. But when I play the same files on my computer they have no static at all nor on his computer.
I'm thinking its just because my vegas can't read the .vf format correctly.
Do you know of anyway to fix the static? Or convert .vf to .veg so it will work?

    Thanks
    -Sam

Make sure the sampling rate of the Project Properties is the same as the media.

Have you played any "other" media? How does that sound?
