Thread: Looking for the best Video editing programme for fan videos

  1. Default Looking for the best Video editing programme for fan videos

What is the best programme to use when making fan videos? I want something that is relatively simple, as I’m new to video editing and could easily get confused, but all the same I want a programme that provides professional results. My videos will only be for fellow fans and You tube, but I want to deliver the best results possible. I am particularly interested in programmes that have many special effects, good audio versatility and and generally ‘smooth’ and professional look from frame to frame.

Naturally, I’m looking for a programme that provides a free trial so that I can ensure it is what I want. It would be a bonus if it’s not too expensive as well (my budget is around £40.)

Basically, you should not try to find the BEST software, it seems that there is no such BEST software. However, it's better to find a perfect suitable software. Here I know some software that may be appropriate for you
Pinnacle, MPEG Video Wizard DVD, VideoReDo, Magix Movie Edit, Premiere
by the way, they are all frame-by-frame edit.

The cynic in me sees new poster with a question - and one new poster pimping a product with their first post too!..... how odd.

Wow. Well believe what you want I suppose. But I have no intention of "pimping" my videos on here. The fan videos I'm making are somewhat limited and are mainly for me and fellow fans.

sageone, thanks for the suggestions. I downloaded a trial of Corel video studio. I'll see how that fits my needs.

The 'pimping' comment was directed at the first poster to answer you (rocksteady) who replied first but that's been removed.
