    Default my first HD video editing pc.

    Hello
    i plan to buy a new computer.
    i have CANON HF200 FULL HD camcorder.
    i film and edit heavy FULL HD films.
    i also do heavy work in photoshop,premiere and vegas.

    tell me what do you think of the computer i'm about to buy, if you recommend to change anything:

    CPU: Core i7 920, s1366, 8MB Box

    Memory: 1600MHZ DDR3 3x2GB OCZ Reaper HPC Edition Triple Channel

    Case: Antec Sonata III (comes with 500W PSU)

    Sonds great except I'd strongly recommend a separate hard drive for system/programs and for video. Or even a striped array for the video (RAID 0 or RAID 5)

    Are you impressed with the quality of the video the Canon HF200 records? Does the video have the WOW factor?

    and yes, this camera is extremely good !

    Get A SAS that runs at 1500 for your video storage drive
