Thread: AVHCD import into iMac software

  1. Default AVHCD import into iMac software

Hello. I have a Panasonic HDC-SD100 and my brother has an iMac. He wants to edit some of my AVHCD footage in either Final Cut Pro or iMovie (I think). I gave him a CD with the AVCHD files (complete folder structure as produced by Panasonic HD Writer software) but he says that he can't import it. He seems to think he has to connect my camcorder to the iMac via USB and he can import like that. What about if I write it back to a SDHC card?

    Can anyone offer some advice?

    Thanks.

he should be able to use the cd, make sure you tell him to copy it to his local hard drive.

if all fails and it makes him happy you could just copy it back to the sdhc card again
