Thread: Compress que of videos

    Default Compress que of videos

I have a bunch of videos that need to be compressed. I actually really like Windows Movie Maker for compression. If you select Best Quality Compression option it does a fine job of shirking the size of video without losing much of the quality.

I don't really know how it works and I don't care, my only complaint is that I wish it did not compress the audio.

So essentially I would like a program that will do exactly what WMM does (nice and brain dead easy) yet would allow me to queue several movies to compress in the same manner. Also I would like to an option to keep audio quality high.

To be clear I know WMM will do several movies at once; however, WMM creates one big movie out of the series, that is not what I want I want them kept individual.

    Thanks in advance.

Try searching for Windows Media Encoder 9.
It is the "engine" of the compression part of WMM and you can use it to do straight compression as a stand alone utility.
It will give you greater control over the output settings.
