Hello, everyone. I just had one or two basic questions about Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere.
My main question is this: are either of these programs able to manipulate "levels" as is possible with Adobe Photoshop? I'd like to use this ability on a spot of film for a video, but I'm not sure if either of these programs can do it. I have an image of the effect that I'm looking for.
1 is a photograph without this effect.
2 is the photograph with the effect.
Further, any Polaroid photo shot with Artistic TZ Film is a good example.
An example of this:

Anything that can achieve this effect.. a filter, even, would be good. I know very little about Premiere or After Effects, and just wanted a solid idea of what I should use.
Also, I'm sure this is very basic, but a nice film grain feature would be really useful. Does Premiere or After Effects include this?
Thank you very much! Any feedback would be appreciated!
