Default Total Newbie - Please help with multiple titles

    Hi there,

I am totally new to video editting and I am currently making a compilation of family and friends videos to burn onto a dvd. I don't really mind what the video looks like just at the moment, I am more interested in the titles on the Dvd itself. Firstly, I'd like to say I am using Ulead MovieFactory 3. I have burnt one dvd so far as a test with 2 clips on it, using a templated title.

What I would like to do is create a dvd with a "Master" title page that will link to other titles so that I can group cetain clips together eg. weddings, children, grandparents ect. Is this possible using this software? I also own Adobe Premier Pro, but can't make head nor tail of that at the moment, I'm quite confused as to what to do with it to be honest! As I say, this is my first attempt, so I don't mind doing it in a simple way, I have a tight deadline, so I thought I could learn more about Prem. Pro later on.

Any advice on how to create multiple titles or linking titles to a main title page would be much appreciated, I can't seem to work this one out!

    Thanks in advance,

    Charlie.

Don't use Movie Factory 3 myself, I have version 2.

But one of the problems with using only DVD Creation software is that the editing and composition tools are basic to say the least.

You would be much better off creating your movies in an editing package (lets say Ulead Video Studio) and then using Movie Factory to create your DVD. The good news is that Movie Factory will allow you to have multiple chapters (or titles as you call them). But it is better to create the individual movies first via an editing package.

Why don't you download the trial version of Video Studio from http://www.ulead.com/vs/runme.htm and click the FREE TRIAL button.
