Thread: Removing TV Logo

  1. Question Removing TV Logo

Can anyone advise me of the best method for removing a TV logo (see photo at link below) using Sony Vegas 8?
I have tried using various FX such as mirror and cookie cutter but the results don't look too clever.

The short answer is that you can't. You can only disguise it.

Again Vince - the short answer is that you can't. The only thing you can do is to cut out the offending footage. With a TV logo (that's in the same place constantly and fairly small) you can blur it, cover it with your own logo and so on. With a foot in shot - you're probably stuffed.

Thanks-I'll tell her just to reshoot that segment.
Guess it is far easier to add things than to remove them.
