    Default PLEASE HELP SOON!!

    hey everyone,
im a gr 10 student in canada and i have to do a video project. i have an older analog camcorder and i need to be able to hook it up to my computer so i can edit it. I'm new to video editing but ive edited videos before. My problem is I don't know how to transfer the video from my camcorder to my computer. I've been looking at the Dazzle DV Clip Video Editing 1394 card. I need a CHEAP way to transfer. Quality isn't that importatnt(to some extent). Any suggestions?

PS: Please remember it has to be available in ontario, canada. o ya, and im looking for something under 100 dollars

If it's an old camcorder, you need to make sure that it's got a DV connection on it, otherwise a Firewire/IEE1394 card is no use.

If you've only got an analogue output, and you're after a cheap and cheerful video capture card, you could do worse than go for a hauppauge winTV card.
