Cool B&W with one object color ???

I'm using Vegas 7 HD and I've been trying to figure out how to do the effect that leaves the whole video B&W except that one thing. I know how to do this with still images and layering and alpha channels and all, but how can I do this with moving video? Or is it something that would have to be filmed with green screen or something? I just wanna do it to existing footage if possible.

Can someone help me out here ?

    Thanks a bundle

    1] Track 1 Event 1 and Copy your Event 1 to Track2

2] Apply the Secondary Colour Corrector ( Full blown Vegas here?? Yes?) to T1E1

3] Apply Black and White Fx at 100% to your Copy of E1 event now on T2.

4] Go back to T1E1 and open the 2nd CC and drag the "Select Effect Range" eyedropper over the colour you WISH to keep. And click on "Invert Mask" and slide the ALPHA slider to 0.000.

What you have done is remove the colour you want but then inverted the removal to allow for the ALPHA channel to be effective and then allow the underlying BnW Event to fill the transparent areas of Event1.

    Done!

Well, now you've got THIS far - well done - you can also add an extra Fx to the BnW Event - try now adding Colour Curves Fx and selecting "Increase Contrast". Once added you can really make the blacks and whites be even MORE distinct.
