    Default Studio 12 sound-over

I am new to video editing. I have figured out how to add music sound track and voice over. However, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to mute the music so that the voice can be heard. I am sure that it is all explained very adequately in the User Guide, if only I could understand what it is telling me. Can anyone explain to me in simple terms what i am supposed to do?

Do you really want your user name as your e mail? - seems a bit reckeless to me.

Right click the orange line on the audio track and select 'add volume setting'...left click the resultant block and drag down to reduce the volume (you can add as many setting blocks as you like and drag them to acheive panning, fades and volume levels). Incidentally, it's better to keep some ambient background or reduced music volume levels beneath a voiceover rather than mute them altogether.
