Prelinger archive rules. Almost every time I browse the archive i get an idea for a daft film.

Be sure to check out the weirdest film in the history of commercial films " your name here ".

Yes, indeed. I found one today called "Princess Nicotine" (circa 1909) which deserves a modern-day remake. This could be right up your alley, Mark.

    Ooohh nice one..

I'm having a lot of fun watching these clips.

The Americans are so much better at having public access archive....

    Why can't we do that?

    I agree - strenuously.

I hoped the bpi may do something similar but so far thier offerings are few and short and often only avaiaable to view by accredited educational establishments.

And what about the BBC - it's a public service b caster - ALL thier archive should be availalbe to all liscense payers all of the time - we bloody paid for it after all.

Lols - that silent film - clearly edwardian film makers had LSD. Looked like something posted in ' analogue director ' crca 1918. I was rooting for the immolated pixies.

Check this for equal oddness - Internet Archive: Free Download: Your Name Here
