    Default DVD footage to Premiere?

I have some super 8 footage from Germany that was transfered onto a DVD. How should I go about in importing DVD footage to Premiere?

I know there are many DVD to AVI software for ppl who wants to copy movies.. etc etc..

I need something that maintains the quality of the footage

    Thanks

Rip the DVD to your harddrive then convert to AVI using something like FlaskMPEG. This has been covered many times on the forum and a search should provide the answer in detail.
