    Question Dazzle problem

    Hi,
I'm new to the site and have a Dazzle DVC 80 connected to my Sharps Viewcam.
Using the windows Moviemaker, when I click the capture button I only get black and white video not colour.
Anybody any ideas what could be wrong please?
Will I need to buy Video Wave 4 ?
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Are you in NTSC land or PAL land, usually if you are getting a picture and it is only in black and white you may have the wrong tv standard selected in the software. Check this to see if you need to change it or it might be a loose cable or damaged connector.

Thanks Nikosony, there appears to be NTSC , PAL and SECAM, plus other settings, (eg composite ) Haven't tried them all as the battery has gone flat in my camcorder but one did produce some colour , though with a very rough picture. I will charge the battery and when I have time go through all the settings until I find the right one. Many thanks for your help, I'm sure this is the answer.
