Default Its an age thing !!!!!!

Last year I used Premiere Elements 3 to make up a video with film taken from a camcorder.I used some still frames from the film and put them in at the end but when I played it back on dvd these "photos" where not stable and moved.I sought advice and did something with the "photos" placed them back in the film and hey presto everything was ok.Now heres the problem I CANNOT REMEMBER WHAT I DID (must be my age) can anyone help with suggestions of what I might have done.I do seem to remember that i changed something from 1 set of numbers to another.Any help would be appreciated

I dont use prem but interlacing casues the flicker.

In general video looks better interlaced and stills are better as progressive.

Many editors have a setting that can be applied to stills on the t line to remedy this - you must have found it.

Cant be specific as I use vegas.

You say the pictures were not stable and moved what do you mean by that? Did they jump about all over the screen or did they flicker or shimmer?
