Default Domino Themed Videos for cash prizes

    Hi there,

We work with a client called GameAccount, an online skill-gaming company who host games such as backgammon and gin rummy. We are trying to promote their latest addition to their online gaming portfolio, dominos.

We are asking the public to create videos to promote the return of the game, in as creative a way as possible maybe through domino-themed music videos or similar ideas. I was hoping to find out whether your media studies department would be interested in helping to get the ball rolling by offering this as a class project. Or maybe students would be interested in producing outside of class? Although the prizes are yet to be decided, GameAccount are likely to offer 150 for any video submitted with a substantial prize of around 1000 for the best video, which will be awarded by a combination of judging panel and the most popular with the online audience.

Please let me know if you are interested or can provide any information on how best to proceed. I look forward to hearing from you soon

Do we have a media studies department here? Nope.
Tip - If your asking a question tailor it to the people you're trying to attract. It might work then. You're also way too vague about prizes.... and offering 150 for any video submitted - what if the video is totally inappropriate? You need to think this through.

No Mark - as I read it, you'll get 150 for that video of your cat. No work required at all mate. He definately says 150 for any video submitted.... I've got twenty five sorted out so far...

No, Andy, I'm sorry. He says "GameAccount are likely to offer 150"

    How likely?

    I suspect that'll be "un"

OTOH if it does pan out at 150 per vid, you'll be able to buy us all PlayPauseClick T-shirts!
(Have they arrived yet? Any good?)

Waiting for delivery. 7-12 days apparently.

And if he does pay 150 per vid, yes, I'll buy all mods a tee shirt. I suspect no one will want the ppc ones though...

If I started turning up at gigs in a ppc shirt, I'm sure you'd start seeing a downturn in business.

Fortunately, I'm not a mod. (I'm still holding out for you getting 150 per vid)

Yeah. I think after all this publicity he ought to buy & send you one of Andy's tee-shirts (with one of your quotes on, of course)
