Thread: Compositing

    Default Compositing

Is there a way to composite a certain area of a track without having to do the whole track. Example- lets say i have a 2 video tracks (one parent one child) and at 30 seconds into it I would like to use the Multiply option in composite mode, then at 2 minutes i would like to change it to Subtract, then at 3 minutes something else....
Can you do this or do you have to create an entire new track with the same video file

    Interesting . . .

Do you actually have a project where you are wanting to do this? Or are you asking a hypothethical generalised question?

I can think of one example where you might - a video demonstrating the different compositing modes
To answer the original. I'm sure you'd have to create a new track for a new mode.

I dont grasp why you would waht to swap compositing modes?? - unless it is to just make everything look odd.

But there again I dont grasp what most are used for except for mask and alpha.

What the hell are the others for - apart from making everything look weird ??? Lols.
