Thread: CS4 Playback monitor quality

  1. Default CS4 Playback monitor quality

    Hello

I have just got CS4 and noticed that in After Effects and Premiere, playback on video looks like "draft" quality even though it is set to Highest. When set to draft, it looks terrible, and when set to highest, it looks how "draft" used to look in previous versions of the sotware. i.e softer and with staggering artefacts on edges.

It is not a problem for exporting - I did a test and exported video played back in Windows media player etc looks fine. It seems to be the monitor playback within the Adobe CS4 software.

Any idea why this could be happening? I need to see sharp images, especially in After Effects. Thanks

    James
