    Default Getting that workprint look

I have some footage from my digital camcorder that I want to make look like workprint material [ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Workprint]Workprint - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]

Any suggestions how I can do that?

If it was me I would play the video on a tv - film it - use that. Like telecine.

you could always make a title with a black bar on the bottom and then insert the time code over the top.

Yes, I've figured out how to do the black bars and get the timecode, but I want to make the video look like it would in workprint. I don't want the quality degraded too much but I've noticed that workprint quality just has some aspect about it that makes it look less defined and sharp.
