Thread: Hey a quick question

    Default Hey a quick question

I made a short mockumentary the other day and I filmed the parts id need to do 3 special effects..

I'm hungry in the movie and i look at my friend, and he turns into food, like a hotdog or something. Now, should I use after effects to do this? like i was thinking add some sparkles and just add a 2d image of the food over him, (with a sound effect of course) should be easy enough right? would after effects be a good program to do that with?

what i would do is film your friend.. then with out moveing the camera have you friend move.. that way you have a area to add you effect..

Yeah im just gonna superimpose an image over him cause i thought it would be funnier if it looked more cheesy

but would after effects be able to do the sparkles and superimpose an image over him? i have the camera still so hes not moving so it wont be TOO hard

    Define ' get ' .....

Seems to me it would be madness to considor buying a program that will take you weeks to learn to use well to do one simpe effect...

To me the word ' get ' is what guilty people say.

    Get me - lols -

This is an old link but hopefully it should still work...

Particle Illusion SE (Not Free costs $99)

    wondertouch: home of particleIllusion

particleIllusion SE 2.0.4 30-day trial (Windows)

The trial version of particleIllusion SE for Windows is fully-functional for 30 days and has no limitations (no watermarks for instance). It should allow you to make the effect you are looking for or one that is close to it.
