Philadelphia Independent Film Festival

In its second year, this is located in the Northern Liberties area of Philadelphia and was a huge success last year. We screened 151 movies at 7 venues over 4 days. Movies and filmakers came from around the world and included Japan, Holland, Bulgaria and Argentina. The goal of the festival is to provide a global and local cultural exchange that encompasses, recognizes, and celebrates independent filmmaking. At the moment our web site is being updated.

The Late Submission deadline of April 1st is fast approaching for the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival. Don't delay...But if you do miss the deadline then don't worry about it..The extended late deadline is April 29th. We look forward to viewing your film projects. Piff 2009 Submission Form

The Philadelphia Film Market

The Philadelphia Film Market is a gathering of industry professionals — including acquisition and development executives, agents, attorneys, directors, distributors, festival directors, financiers, film commissioners, producers, writers, and various press outlets — aimed at bringing all aspects of the film industry together. The process of making movies is a truly collaborative one and our goal is to help foster and grow that relationship, no matter what your project needs.

The only film market on the east coast.
