Thread: Video in on JVC Everio for backup

  1. Angry Video in on JVC Everio for backup

I bought a 30gm Jvc Everio (GZ-MG230U) to connect as a stand alone recorder. Basically I have a wireless video receiver that has two RCA outputs and I wanted one of them to record the video feed directly to the 30gb Everio. I used to use a DVD cam for this but DVD's are cumbersome and time consuming. Anyway, I cant figure out how to get the camera to accept video in through the AV cable? It only seems to have video out? Does anyone know how to use a camera like this as a hard drive recorder?

There is no AV in, the only way for video to get into the camera and onto the hard disk is through the lens.
