Default editing software, which ones best?

    hi,

i've been messing about for about a year now with different softwares.

    i'm currently using:

adobe premiere (for my raw video editing)
adobe aftereffects (for any tweacks i need to do)
adobe photoshop (for my any still pictures)
adobe encore (to burn to dvd)
DVD lab PRO 2 (to make my dvd menus)

    my problem is:

I like what dvd lab pro 2 can do for me, but i cannot import avi files into the program or export menus out into encore. now i understand that DVD lab PRO EDIT SUITE does solves these issues, but i'm unable to get an evaluation copy to try it out.

does any one know of any software which would solve my problem?

    thank you

I'm sure you won't have to wait long until someone (another first time poster - surprise surprise) comes along and gives you a link to software.

Personally i used Avid media composer v3.0
Its more complicated than the adobe suite but i think its more complete

yea, its just if I'm gonna recommend anyone some kind of program to use i make sure I have the download link right there with it. cause i don't want to be responsible for 155 purchases for some shi**ty software thats made by Apple. If you ever recommend any movie, music band or software to anyone always have the link to download it available or else Warner Bros, Viacom, Fox News, Adobe, Microsoft and so on will make $18,000 of every reccomendation you make.

Whatever your opinion is on software copying, we don't allow users to tell people where to get pirate software from.

I'm not going to get into a debate on it - just telling you where we stand. It would be this forum that would get in trouble if they found us allowing links such as that to be posted here.

Link removed, and please don't do this again.

I think you overestimate your morality and pulling power...

Most decnt vendors of s ware give a money back garuntee if you are not happy.

I really dont know what your point is, except that you think piracy is cool - but why the prosletising ?
