Dont be an arse - people work for money.

I find your post rather patronising and offensive.

I dont suppose for a minute you are working for expenses only - are you ?

Care to explian why people should work for your personal gain and get nothnig themsevles?

I am not suggesting people work for nothing. So 'don't be and arse' and go jumping to conclusions. Thanks.

So you are making money and not offering to pay people ??? - link removed.

If I misinderstnad please explain further. I suggest you post the hourly rate as just saying ' expenses paid ' makes it appear as it that is all you are offering.

Hint - 25 an hour is the MIN going rate. Even for gullible film grads...

Yes, i am working for free. In fact, i am funding the aforementioned project, so it's only costing me money.
Currently, it is a non profit venture. The content is purely promotional and has no commercial value.

You certainly are an opinionated moderator! It seems unjust to form such opinions without investigating first.

    Really?

    I dont believe you.

So are you a charity? No.

If your venture is commercially sound - and I am sure it is a money making scam for you - then you should pay people - i am, certain you will be profiting in some way at some point from peoples work - wont you?

Perhaps if your first post was less spammy and more honest you may have more luck.

As a 3rd party, i have no commercial rights over footage of Artists signed to major record labels. Whilst i have permission from all necessary parties to co-ordinate and produce this content, as 'Producer' or representative of the producer, i only have the rights for promotional usage specified in the release contracts from the Labels.

There is nothing i can do to make money with this footage even if i wanted to. I find it worrying that you are unaware of these standard industry formalities regarding charting acts with 360 label contracts.

I am not a charity. I write comic books for a living, which i do get paid for.

I also happen to have an array of contacts in the music business, which i don't get paid for.
