    Default problem with vob files in vegas movie studio 9 platium pro pack

    hi could someone please help me

    After finishing my movie, i save my work as a movie file. when i play it back to me on windows media player certain files are blank. These are vob files that i have burnt onto my computer using dvd to avi converter. the other files are fine its just any dvd that i have burnt don't work.

    can you post a screen grab or your setting? Also is the same type of file thats blank each time?

    Don't use the VOB to AVI converter. Vegas has an option to import VOB files (File Import | DVD Camcorder disc - ignore the fact your DVDs aren't camcorder, it works).

    sorry what do u mean by screen grab? the format i want to save it in is avi
    yes all the files that arn't working are the same type which are from dvds.

    ok i just tried that, but it said the file is either corrupted or of an unknown format but weirdly enough, it imported the last 20 seconds of the episode.

    I've never known that before. Maybe the file IS broken (and thats why the other route doesn't work either)
