    Default Video in video?

Hi, I'm fairly new to this. I'm using Vegas Movie Studio 9.0 and I'm trying to have one video playing in the top right corner on top of another video. If that didn't make sense, here's a poorly drawn picture to (hopefully) explain what I mean.

The black square represents one video while the yellow represents the other. Anyone know if this is possible? If so, could you explain in a newbie-friendly manner? e_e

    Thanks in advance.

put one video on one track.. then put the other video on the second track... use the pan and crop tool (looks like 2 off set boxes on the lefts side of the track) then shrink the video to size and place it..

In case it's not absolutely clear from Wil's post, your smaller video (V2 in your example) should be on track 1. To "shrink" it, you use Pand and Crop as explained bu Wil, grab a corner of the bouning box (the marquee around the image) and stretch OUTWARDS. this is not immediately obvious to all first time users.

    And/or....
use Pan and Crop to crop to select just the part of the picture you want to see (by moving the bounding vox INWARDS), then use Track Motion (on the track header) to size/position the video.

Only posted to demonstrate how flexible the built-in tools are.

PS: Wil, this would be an excellent subject for another test of your Camtazia tutorial vids
