Unhappy Easy Cap and Ulead Video (unreadable file)

    Hi!

I recently buy an Easy Cap to transfer my analog video from a Sony Hi5 video camcorder to my PC. The Easy Cap comes with the Ulead VideoStudio SE DVD. When I transfer the video in AVI format and go to the editing part (project) I can’t see the video but I can hear the sound, it say that the file is unreadable. Could any can tell why this happen and who can I resolve that problem??????

click ....Start > All programs > Accessories > systems tool > Disc defragmenter

If you never ran the defragmenter it'll take awhile to run it...

    Hi!!
I keep trying capturing the video with different settings and I found the answer. I am using EasyCap with the software that came with the devise, Ulead Video SE DVD. To eliminate the error of “unreadable file” when you try to see the video, I change compression setting. Go to Options, then to Video and Audio Capture Property Settings, and in the Capture tab in the Compression setting chance the YUY2 for RGB 24. For me that was the answer to the problem.
