Default need someone to film my wedding!

    hi

i am getting married this year, and would dearly love to have it filmed.

i dont have alot of money to spend and wondered if there were any students, inexperienced videographers or anyone who would like to add a wedding to their portfolio?

if not any special offers anyone is doing let me know,

sorry if i am in the wrong forum or indeed the wrong site!

    thankyou in advance

Im sure you'll get some offers, not me tho.. Im in the US.. Just some advice.. You'll get better responses if you you give more information.. I know its a year off but if you know the type of service, What you want in the video.. (ie.. prep, service, reception, rehersal dinner, etc..) It'll help... Also the amount you can pay or want to pay.. The people here are very talented but exp. dose very.. so getting a beginner might be you're best option if money is an issue... but anyway.. congrats and good luck.. and welcome to the forum =)

    Default this year 8th august!

thanks for the advice. my wedding is actually this year! it is 8th august.

would want someone at the registry office then at the venue until at least the first dance.

i would prefer contemporary and not too long, so prob a lot of editing! i have only got a budget of 500, which is not v much i know but as i said before i would happily be used as a sample.

    thanks

Hi and thanks for considering having your wedding day covered by someone who is at least an enthusiast. It may not be a big budget, but you should get someone who has good intentions.
Try these Kaandaro Event Videography She, has only been going a year or so, but is very keen, has suitable equipment, and may with some serious flattery even work within your budget if she's not already booked.
    best wishes for the day!
My opinions are just that . . . Mine. It's not personal, but is based on my emotional and professional reaction to requested critique. If you choose to ignore constructive comments, I'll just assume you're a vanity poster and not posting to improve your filming and editing skills.

I do not mind these requests as long as all other suppliers are being asked the same thing, but in my experience, they want a video but never want to pay the going (livable) rate.
unless you can prove me wrong...

Sorry Richard but 200 is a bloody joke.

If you are rubbish then dont do paid work and if you are good it is shit to undercut professionals who pay the mortgage and feed the kids plying thier trade.

And ' industry std HD camera' - so you have a 12,000 XDcam then? That is an industry std cam if the phrase has any meaning.

Sorry but it irritates me when students with a dixons c corder musle in on true and dedicated professionals.
