The ' remove clothing ' plug in, followed closely by ' skateboard remover ' .

Followed closely by the bit where you plug your camera in and capture your footage and then plug your ideas into the footage.

OK, smart arses, we'll put that question another way. What's your most indespensible tool in Vegas? Either one that you use to save time / efficiency, or one that you just always resort to. Doesn't have to be a paid plugin. Mark, I know you had a love afair with curves last year...

The scripted version of the VirtualDub deshaker I find very useful (I'm a lousy cameraman) I seem to get better results with this than with the paid-for Mercalli. Indeed, the fact it's 32bit only is one of the reasons I'm hesitating over going 64-bit. And Colour Curves can give such impressive results when source footage leaves something to be desired.

Can you elaborate Tim? What exactly does it do, where can I get it etc?

And thanks for clarifying my lousy questioning before Marc - think your question was worded a lot better! Reason I'm asking is because I was reading Douglas Spotted Eagle's Vegas handbook and he mentions a few plug in to help effects etc and I wondered if anyone had experience of these or had any ideas of their own to share!?

    Heh - but seriously....

Nearly everything i do has the look tweaked - I very occasionally use magic bullet but the rendering times are legendary.

I habitually use curves and saturation and more but curves gets my vote - a very powerful tool that is worth playing with.

Here's a link: Deshaker Script It attempts to steady shakey footage.

Mark W and I were just being silly as Marc P pointed out. The DSE book is marvelous. Read it three times and still have much to learn from it.
