Default Very impressive smooth animation at 60 fps in after effects,,,why you use 30 fps?

    Hello guys,,

I trayed many ways to smooth the movements at 30 fps, 25 fps,
and i ready trayed the (motion blurr, easy ease, reduce interlace flicker )

But non of this ways helped me to get what i want to get,, but when i render the animation at one of the HDTV presets and change the fps to 60 i really get very nice and smooth animation,,,,so

My qeustion is why not 60 fps for exporting in AE? is there any problem when i do that?

See this small test of fast movements
    Wma 4 mb
    Comp 1_1.wmv

I think you cant get this smoothing movements with 30 or 25 fps if you do please send me your project file of a simple animation just some movements.

    I hope somebody help me

    Thank you.

Many PCs will struggle to play a 60fps wmv.
There is no distibution inrastructure for 60 fps.
On a TV the post processing in the TV will smooth the 30 fps anyway.

I watched shrek last week at 24 fps - it was fine.

If you are ultimately producing a DVD then it will play back at 25 or 30 depending on whether you're in PAL or NTSC country. OK, so it's 50i or 60i really butit;s only 25 or 30 real frames so I always stick to that as that's what i'll get eventually anyways.

This raises a good point to me though. All this HD stuff. rather than raise the resolution to even greater height, money shouldbe put into raising the fps at the cinema.

    I agree totally.

As aquisition and projection goes digital I think we will see a move to 50p for films.

25p has always looked crap on the big screen. Too jerky.
