    Default Time lapse opportunity

    Hi all,

I am new to the forums and have just set up my first timelapse. I work for a construction company and they wanted me to do a time lapse of a big project we have underway. The first footage has come back and looks awesome but I was wondering if anyone can suggest some cool effects I can put on. For example I love the 'metal heart' tilt shift video and was wondering if any one has anything else I can do to this video. It all has to be done in post production though as the footage has to be usable for claims and things. I just want to do something cool to it as well.

    Suggestions most appreciated

Tilt shift photography is not done in post but uses special lenses where the objective can be tilted and moved.

I have tried to recreate the effect in post but it was fiddly and not as cool. I understand from my stilld friend that p shop can ape it quite well.

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for the info. I was after whether anyone know of other cool effects such as the tilt shift effect that would work well on a time lapse video where the camera is set high over a building site (but I can only put effects on post).

I would just add a bit of motion blur and maybe ramp the speed up an down thru the vid it that works.
Jump cuts can be cool too.

I know Mark was looking for a gizmo to do pans of lanscapes, but I couldn't find the post. Hopefuly this will catch his eye.

Cheers Marc. I was looking in Marks profile to see 'all his posts' but couldn't see the link. It was early though.
