    Default Excalibur hlaf price

    Just a heads-up:
Digital Juice have Edward Troxel's Excalibur at half price at the moment. I'm tempted (even though I already have VASST's Ultimate Pro). Anyone use it? Comments?

They also have ClassOnDemand's "Complete Training for Vegas 7" (bizarrely) 2 DVD. Again, anyone any experience?

I have both. I find they compliment each other. UliS Pro is dreamy, just "stuffed" with tools from an amazing scripter - Johnny Rofrano. And both remain "docked" in my setup. Edward's "AutoSave" is nailed and glued to my Toolbar. It has saved my "bottom" on many occasions!

Other tools for me from Excalibur are:

    * Project Inspector ( you gotta see this one in action . .. ) - Need to find where your sloppy editing has got you to? PI is THE Detective! When I used this for the first time I was amazed at the flaws I had created ( not really! I am a very sloppy editor . .). But it is STILL up to me whether I just noted them, adjusted or just moved on. BUT knowing I DO have this tool makes me confident and secure.

    * Repair Maintenance tools - Ever need to re-sync misaligned audio to video? I have! One click it is done.

My advise, as always with any software is, IF there is a demo version to trial - do it. And at half price you really DO need to demo it. Chances are that you will purchase after demoing it. Too many natty toolbox implements and widgets not to own it outright.

Grazie, you've highlighted precisely the tools I was particularly interested in. Can't be bothered with the trial. Tell Edward to send you some half price commission.

It comes free with your 10,000th post.

I feel like I'm missing out on all this Vegas scripting malarky.
