    Default Saddest screen ever.

My screen is the same size as this and cost me 120.

This one is 1500 ish - but look at what it can do - lols.

Is it just me or this really a total waste of cash? I honestly dont notice the dark bits on my 4 3 screen.

I read up on expensive screens - it appears thay cosalot becuase some of them are made with gain. This means they work a bit like reflective clothes - they preferentially reflect like back to the source making the image look brighter but also narrowing the viewing angle.

Gains up to 1.4 are common.

Apparently these are not seen as so important now as projectors are bright enough without extra screen gain.

My proijector is 2000 lumens and seems fine on a 7 ft screen.

Apparently AVCHD is great too... paint your wall white... it's just as good.

Lols - yesterday i was phoning av shops to ask about screens. One guy in one shop told me that if my screen cost less than 300 and my projector was less than 1000 then a TV would look better.

FOOL - my tv was a 1200 quid sony and my crap free projector ( free cos mate couldnt afford the bulb at 280 ) on my crap 120 quid screen totally rinses the TV.

Me no understand. Digital audio is data. How can quality of data be improved? It's either there or it isn't. Surely? If the bandwidth is high enough, data won't be lost. For example when I run SQL queries on a database, get results back. If I use this cable, does it mean my results are better?!

    Am I making things simple?

That cable is sold as an interconnect from cd deck to decoder. Some mooks who sniff cables and tip ex would have us believe that it can still matter - fools.

The people who but it have cd players that cost like 5000 - I guess they are just dim rich people.
