Default how to port a flash cartoon (exe) to home dvd?

    Hi!

I have some cartoons that are actually exe files, whose properties says,

    'Macromedia Flash Player 6.0'

What is this called? (I noticed someone in a forum was talking 'container' - no idea if that is related to my case)

And the question is, how can this exe file be converted so I can watch on a home dvd?

    Thank you as always.

Yes, what you have is a container. The .swf files have been converted to .exe as a standalone app. They cannot be converted, but you can extract the .swf files from it.

There are lots of small apps that will do this for you. I don't know any right off hand but I'm sure if you google it you'll come up with a handfull of freebies.

    I'll write here if/when I succeed.
